New Home for Pelham Puppets
David Leech set up the new Pelham Puppets Company in October 2008 in the picturesque, Victorian town of Ilfracombe on the beautiful coastline of North Devon.

Producing puppets that work well is - and always has been - of paramount importance to David, who learned his craft from Bob Pelham and by working across the various departments of the original Pelham Puppets factory in the 1970s.

Each puppet is made with the same skill and care as the original puppets that you may remember from your own childhood. Each face is painted individually, so you can be sure that no two puppets will ever be exactly the same.

The puppets are proving very popular with children many of whom are discovering the wonderful world of puppet theatre for the first time.
Schools also use the puppets for special projects.
